Custom Finishing
Custom finishing begins with a thorough color consultation and/or color matching process. The first step involves meticulously masking off the entire area surrounding the pieces to be sprayed. Depending on the size of the space and the airflow, this may require masking off the entire room. Any removable components are taken to our workshop, ensuring that minimal spraying occurs on-site. Following this, we conduct a prewash to eliminate any potential contaminants. Next, we address any undesirable joints or imperfections by filling them appropriately. A comprehensive sanding is then performed and all dust is removed. We apply multiple coats of color or stain using the most effective techniques tailored to each specific project. Finally, we undertake additional sanding and apply multiple top coats to achieve a superior finish.
Restoration
Wood restoration serves as an excellent way to preserve your cherished furnishings. The process begins with a comprehensive consultation to determine whether it is necessary to strip the existing finish or if only partial restoration will suffice. The initial stage of restoration involves a thorough wash to eliminate any accumulated grease or grime. Subsequently, we meticulously remove any loose paint chips or loose particles. The exposed areas are then sanded utilizing a specialized technique that seamlessly blends with the existing finish, ensuring a smooth transition without any ridges. Following this, new stain is applied either by hand or using a spray application, depending on the specific requirements of the project. The newly applied stain is expertly shaded to harmonize with the existing finish. This is followed by a series of sanding and scuffing procedures to achieve an even surface. The process is completed with the application of multiple protective topcoats to safeguard the newly restored finish.
